D&D Fatcats with Ghost Pipe
« on: May 14, 2006, 04:07:38 PM »

Here is a few pics of my D&D Fatcats I just put on with a Ghost pipe to keep that bagger look. I am pleased with the looks, sound, and performance. I did not go with the performance baffles and I'm glad I didn't! (Thanks Harry) [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I really like the access I gained in cleaning around the oil fill and transmission area. Can easily hear radio on cruise around 70-80 mph. Pipes open up nicely when you get on it and have a re-verb in between shifts that sounds pretty wicked I think. Ghost pipe looks great too. IMHO. ;D

I don't know about the DAWG but I got mine from American Machine Supply. I got them to do another group buy which has now expired. You may be able to call and ask for Steve and see if he can include you in it. I got Fatcats and ghost pipe for $650. Check out this thread, gives all the details.http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1142552334

JR,
Those are really nice looking, nothing like a 2 into 1 pipe. If I were to ever have reason to change my pipes I would definitely look into something like that w/the falsie.

BTW – You got that banana looking sharp too. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Thanks d00d! I really love these babys. I was told by one of the service writers at my dealer that he thinks these are the best 2-1 sysytems he's seen and is getting a set. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] See Ya and God Bless Bro!

JR, got any photos of where the ghost pipe attaches at the front?  I don't know that I've ever seen one of these falsie setups before and am curious how "real" the fake pipes comes off looking at the point where the real pipes ends and the falsie begins.

I agree with the others, it looks really good!  I'll be looking forward to seeing/hearing it for myself!

I'd like to see closeup pics of the connection and mount areas as well if you can do it. Very nice looking setup!!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

They look fantastic, and sound great and the power is really there too.  My husband has them on his bike.  The only complaint, and it is minor, is that when he rides with his military uniform on - (ACUs), the pants are baggy and burn a little on the right leg.  Barely noticable on the pants themselves, but the pipe needs to be cleaned. He has no problem when wearing jeans.  [smiley=cherry.gif]  Nice pictures.
