Has anyone changed the inner bracket on an 09 CVO ROAD GLIDE to the new bracket from the 2010 and up? I want to put a set of vented lowers on and have to change the brackets. Thanks

Had the fairing bracket and the crash bar brackets (dog bones) changed on the '09 SERG to accommodate the vented lowers / J&M speaker pods.

The vented lowers, along with the flaps, GADS Lower Triple Tree Deflector, and 12" Wind Splitter = Aerodynamic Nirvana for me (6'4" 34" inseam), nothing but good clean air at any speed, helmet or not, and I don't have to run no ugly windshield...

I changed mine back in fall of 09. Did it one sunday morning, done by lunch. No biggie. Anyone need a set of 09 stock mounts? Cheap?

All back together again. The biggest pain was getting the wires back in the right spot so the head light would go back in. Did it myself in about 4hrs. Xtreme Dimension is doing the paint for me

Don't let the dealer know you've had the inner fairing off. They think they are the only ones smart enough to do that. It stopped me dead in my tracks when I expressed interest in trading. They didn't want anything to do with a bike that the customer had the inner fairing off. Just FYI
