Greg, Great job!  It is nice to see someone step up and go for it.  I have a brother in-law who is special needs.  There is nothing like the look on his face when something thrills him.  One year my wife and I where looking for xmas gifts and she said that this one item would be perfect and I, in my foolish material thinking,  thought it would not be enough.  So we bought him two gifts.  Mine was ok but when he got the one I thought was not enough, he was ear to ear grin.  I learned an important lesson that Christmas.

"Great news, I'm neither a convicted felon nor a child predator! "   :nervous:

Oh by the way, I like how used the word "convicted".

Great story, John.    :2vrolijk_21:   I rely on, "Innocent until proven guilty!"    :coolblue:

Greg,  That was truly inspirational.  Your write up and your participation was just fantastic.  It's just great to read true events that everyone wins from investing our most prized & valuable commodity and that is time.  I've done some small things but nothing that moving.  Congratulations on making your life and the ones you touched even more special.

Great Post.

Greg...I'm really proud of you and what you "sacrificed" to volunteer for the "Special Olympics"!!!  I was fortunate many years ago to Chair a Special Olympics competition in High Point, N.C. When I was with the Jaycees!!!  Words can't describe the feeling and unconditional love I received from all the contestants!!!  I was humbled and honored to serve just like you.  Are you coming to Maggie Vally this year??  Hope to see you there!!!

Thanks again, all.   Bubba, that sounds like a great job!  A few of us that got to know each other in Los Angeles are looking to do the California Special Olympics in November.  I'd love to get to Maggie Valley again.  Maybe next year.   If so I'll make sure we have a guitar.  Because:

Pack up the babies and grab the old ladies and everyone goes
'Cause everyone knows Bubba Love's show... Hallelujah!
