2011 FLHXSE2 new amp part numbers

While getting ready to order another OEM amp for my bike I noticed that the part number changed from 77041-11 to 76000141. The price is much higher for the newer part number. Do any of you know if this is an upgraded unit or just a different part number? I know that I will get some advice on what other brands are better but really would just to know about the part number change. Thanks.

Since you have had so many bad experiences with the harley stuff,,   why would you keep putting that back in?   Their audio equipment just sucks.  You can get a much better amp if you look at arc audio, Rockford.  Or almost anything else.  Good luck.  Stuart

Only one minor problem with putting something else in. I suspect you can't do it for the $50 cost if it's being repaired or replaced under extended warranty.

I'd pay and not have crappy amps in my bike. Just saying.

Thanks for your inputs. I was well satisfied with the sounds from the original amp. I have 64 year old hearing that F-4 Phantoms in Vietnam altered so just a workable system is good with me.
The new part number from what I have read are in the later model CVO's.

Sorry Skillet.  Just trying to knock out some of the frustration that goes with the HD audio.  I have a parts breakdown for then2013 cvosg3.  If you been a part number from them even,, I can help,,    thanks.
