Replacing Hydraulic Clutch Cable.
« on: September 09, 2014, 07:31:11 PM »

Hey, I don't have my service manual with me and I'm curious as to whether you need to take off your exhaust to change a hydraulic clutch cable. I know when I changed the cable clutch I had on my 07 Fatboy I had to, but am unclear whether it will be necessary with the hydraulic cable on my 2009 softail CVO Springer. Thanks in advance.

Guess you mean hydraulic pipe, as there is not clutch cable.

I replaced my Hyd clutch line when I changed my bars.

YES, you can change it without removing the exhaust.
