ACR and supertuner map NEED Help
« on: April 15, 2010, 02:38:11 PM »

My fxstsse2 is running great with the map I have now, but it seems like the automatic compression releases is not engaging, it has a hard time cranking and sometimes sputter on startup.

I canĀ“t figure out how to enable ACR in my SEST software, and if that now is the problem, please take a look at my map and advise on how to get the ACR:s working with this map. Map attached.

I am running:
SE 257 cams
High comp pistons
Se breather
Short shots

Thanks John

I just opened your tune file and the ACR's are disabled.  You will need to turn them on and re-flash the bike.  The ACR screen is found under the "Tuning Setup" section of the tune file.

Thanks!

I found the window and enabled the acr, saved the map and reflashed my bike. The bike now cranks without hesitation, and starts without any trouble.
THANKS ALOT!!!

Why has so much been taken out of closed loop? A lot of that afr map looks way rich.

Here is the printout, The tuner who did this was not specialised in SERT or SEST, he was not so familiar with the software, he does Powercommander tunes, and did this tune because I asked him.

Should I retune with someone else? The bike runs real good and strong.

Well, I see no reason for the afr tables to be set like that. Don't know how he calibrated the ve tables but I haven't seen any that have been adjusted that uniformly and the timing tables haven't been worked. I definitely think it can be tuned properly.
