12" monkey bars installed
« on: January 24, 2016, 05:28:28 PM »

Had some yaffe monkey bars installed last week.  These things look and feel great.  The antennae for fm radio no longer works though so I'm taking it back in tomorrow.  I know the antennae is in the fairing but I'm not sure how it works and I'm not getting stations hardly at all.

I love the bars. Did you have to extend your brake and clutch cables or just the wiring for the switches?

Same bike, same bars. I changed out the grips tho. Really didn't like the looks of the cvo ones.

i'm 6'1" with 35" inseam, and with the bars all the way forward, (the most rise) they are even with, or slightly above my shoulders. I may slouch a bit. Heres a pic for reference.

No cables on 2015 All hoses were long enough, but wiring was extended.

?
Is there a special application for CVO's handlebars?
The reason I ask is when I check fitment charts the Street Glide I excluded.
I believe they have the same crimp/relief on both sides.
I know it's because of the hydraulic clutch but it's no different than a stock pearch.
Any info?
What was the application of these bars?

^^^ I had noticed the same issue when I was looking for bars. I talked with a tech at Harley, and he stated there is no difference between bars for a standard SG and a CVO. Not sure why some say their bars don't fit CVO's.

I have changed my bushings to the polythrene. The stock bolts now seems short, have you changed them to longer ones?
