Neither one of us have problems with our everyday underwear. In the heat we do have Wickers...thanks to the Nelson GTG and all of the talk about underwear.  :P  when packing for trips we joke about...don't forget your wickers  ;D

Good luck on your search  :bananarock:

And I thought Under Armour was High!

Funny how some people will spend thousands of dollars on farkles for their motorcycle but not spend more than a few dollars for decent undies.  :nixweiss:

:coolblue: In the winters here Vegas like today it's  27 out.  I use dress socks under sweat socks and wool pajama bottoms under jeans and winter chaps.  It was a trick I learned from the older cats, in Chicago riding sport bikes. 25yrs later I'm still doing it.

Yup.  I've got a couple of pairs of the ExOfficio, but they're no better than good 'ol UA stuff.  I don't care for the LDC stuff at all....Very expensive, and the fly is ridiculous on them.

no softener. IDK why, but something about breaking down the ability to wick moisture.

With our NOMEX uniforms and gear, fabric softener is not recommended because it coats the fibers and causes a buildup. For us it reduces flame retardant proprieties and add a flammable substance to the gear.

No doubt because of that buildup that is the reason for the "not recommneded" for wicking type underwear.

Ever check the liquid softener compartment of your washing machine?

I'm actually the only one that tops it off with water after the cap of softener. Years ago I noticed the soft sludge buildup goin on with my parents machine. I don't have that problem with mine now, still is slick in the dispensary though.

Another thing you can't use with UA is anti-perspirant, can only use deodorant. It solidifies in the underarm over time and no longer retains it's deodorant/anti-perspirant property. It starts a reverse life cycle and traps odor, at least with their compression shirts. Messed up sh!t that under armour is lol. High maintenance, but when you gotta wear a bunch of gear over it you need it.

That's my only issue with them. Where in the world did they come up with that front shirt pocket design?
