That guy has way too much time on his hands. Mine stay hanging open when not it use unless I wear them to work. Then the get rolled up in and put in the saddle bag until the ride home. I don't leave leather items rolled up. I like to let them breathe so to speak. Would hate to pull them out of the garage to wear and have mold on them because they collected moisture while in storage.

Mine are in the house about 350 days out of the year. The only time we wore them last year was for the Sturgis rally when temps cooled down. They are also great for keeping bugs off you lol.

I gotta agree, any damp air and they would be Green leave mine hung on a wooden hanger. But being from the NC hills, wear them daily from late Fall til early Spring

Looks like he's spent more time folding chaps than wearing them. But I bet his sock drawer looks nice.

I see a lot of posts about not keeping them rolled up. Someone enlighten me on how to not roll up chaps and still "hang" them in your saddlebags, I gotta see this one.

Don't leave them stored for long periods of time in your bags. If you're not going to need them for more than a day or so, hang them up somewhere.

Just like any of our equipment it only gets packed for trips and depending on need so it's rarely just chilling in the bags. For instance, we packed them for Sturgis and used them at night then put them in the camper when not in use. I think the method shown to roll them up is awesome and saves space not sure who wouldn't want that? Just use common sense and let them air out when not in use. It's all good at the end of the day just do what you like I just think anything that saves space in my bags is awesome!
