It weird to me that there is no "feeding frenzy" on the 2017s.  I remember when I was searching for my 15, if a dealer had one, it was over MSRP and it was rare to even see one.  Now, there are a number of 16s just sitting and the 17s are coming in and selling, but they seem kind of easy to get....

Zips Harley in Gaylord just got a black and red 2017. Wolverine Harley had a blue 2017 for about 3 hours on Friday.  Sold quickly.

I still can't get over why they thought it was a good idea to flip the paint from front to back... Makes no sense at all and looks dumb.

Although I am a sucker for a black and orange bike I am looking at the gray/black as a better alternative this year as it "hides" the crappy graphic pattern.  That in its self is a pretty condemning statement on the color patterns HD chose to put on these bikes.  Need to see both in person before making a final decision.  Truth be told if it wouldn't be for losing the sales tax credit on the 15 I sold through the dealer I most likely would wait to see what the 2018 graphics pattern would offer.

How long until you lose that credit? I'm still thinking there's going to be another model added to the lineup by January.

A year from the sale of my 15 so sometime next June I think.  I am just going to wait and see what happens in the mean time.  Have deposit down but dealer is decent about just waiting till I find something I can live with....
