Single wheel trailers
« on: January 09, 2009, 04:23:22 PM »

I am thinking of purchasing a single wheel trailer, example: UNI-Go, N-Line etc, has anyone added this to your CVO if so, what is your experience with that specific model in regards to handling, storage, looks, obstacle avoidance. Not interested in the two wheel trailer. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Well I have a uni-go and love it ,I can even take it in motel rooms,up elevators and in campers. It pulls great don't even know it back there til I put a cooler of beer in it then you know it's there.I didn't like uni-go's factory hitch,I bought a mc hitch and made my own receiver. What ever you do on a hitch ,one wheel trailers the hitch needs to be real solid no wiggles. good luck jdo

We are buying a Uni-Go this summer.  I would love to see some pic's of your hitch & what you did.

What was wrong with the one from Uni-Go?

Thanks

This is a mc hitch receiver type with a treaded bolt to hold it solid ,on uni-go's sight the sell one close to what we made. They have one that looks like a truck bumper. jdo

Never thought trailers would be very stable on a bike.  JDO that looks real sharp. Some mathing stripes would be off the hook.

I tow an N-line, Lots of miles no problems. Far greater capacity than the uni-go. Hardly know it's back there. And it matches the style of the tour pack, and saddle bags.
