Been away awhile
« on: July 04, 2015, 07:44:26 PM »

Ventured away form the CVO bikes for a while (6yrs) now I'm thinking of getting buying a Street Glide any advice on the CVO side of things it that might be helpful.  I was looking at both the Black/Gold and Black/silver models.  Hope to be back in a week or so just need to decide.  I really kinda thinking maybe I should go the Ultra route since I'm coming off a Limited 103. But damn that Street Glide looks nice.....

Part of the problem is I wrecked the bike last week after hitting a deer and I've got a Sturgis camp site booked. Theres no way my current bike will be fixed for the trip.

Well i did it Carbon Crystal/phantom flames... First impressions I'm going to miss that tour pack.  Love the infotainment system though its going to take some learning and the black is going to be a bit of work keeping up. Ride wise coming off the Limited sorta like going from a Caddy to a Roush Mustang though not a fast bike definitely quicker than the 103. I haven't gotten on it yet still need to the 500mph. It's different and I think I'm going to have fun......

With a little Head work, cams and good exhaust you will certainly notice the performance a 110 can do!  As for the ride, you nailed it.  Caddy vs Roush.  I am certain you will enjoy your new ride.  Stay safe!!
