Has any one installed a Harley Davidson air foil luggage rack on a CVO Street Glide with the light. Went to dealer to get the light and was told I could not use the light because there is no connector for the light. Would like to know if anyone one has wired in this light and how it was done.

The instructions that come with the light say to plug it into the accessory connector under the seat. At least the one for a 2013 did. However I was already using the accessory connector under the seat with a Y adapter for my heated seat and heated backrest. I purchased a wiring harness from Custom Dynamics with connectors that plugged right int to the wiring harness going to the tail lights located under the back of the seat at the front of the fender. It had the connectors on it for a CVO and was plug and play. I was even able to plug it in downstream of my magic strobe module so when I hit the brakes it strobes with my brake lights.

Important question here.... What year is your bike?

New canbus systems can be pretty touchy if you go adding anything to it.

The bike is a 2012 CVO Street Glide no tour pack.

Light says not for CVO model. Don't know why. Can it be install direst to power and used as a light.

Yes that it basically what I did with the wiring harness adapter from Custom Dynamics.

Dont know if your bike is different than mine, but i put a tour pak with airwing rack and led light on my 2012 cvosg, and all I did wass buy a "Y" conector from dealer for under $20 and there is a conector under the seat to plug into.
One thing. Mine is a Canadian model and our tail light is seperate from the signals.
