Picked up my Blue/Lava SG today. 80 mile ride home....other than being too quiet and the fact that I need to learn the radio it's all good!!

Well not all...the seat does SUCK!

You know when I first got my Silver Streak, I could not tolerate the seat. Now with a 1000 miles on the bike the seat is doing ok...to the point of not ordering a Corbin solo with back rest. I have the Corbin on my GSA and it is a great 1000 mile day seat with the back rest and highway pegs. But I doubt very much that I will be taking the street glide over a couple hundred miles each day, leaving the long hauls for the BMW. So I guess what I am saying is give the seat a couple hundred miles, especially if you put highway pegs on your bike. You might grow to like it! Spook

Yes..traded it in....didn't do too bad. Also, they wouldn't move on the Freight and Prep, but they took $500 off of the bike. As long as the price went down I don't care what line it comes off of.

And Spook....the Street Glide is my long haul bike so I'm thinking the seat will have to go.......

Congrats. Welcome to the club. Think you're really going to like it. I solved the 'too quiet' issue by adding Vance &Hines dresser duals and hi output mufflers. Added the SERT and had it dynod and it runs and sounds great. If you like the VH sound.

Fullsac Performance is having a sale on their dual o2 bunged DX pipe for the month of October. Look them up.
I just ordered their DX pipe with cross over, 2 1/4" power cores, screens, & tts mastertune with map. Now all i need is a bike to put it on.lol

I did find one defect in the clearcoat on the tank...called the dealer and they are getting me a new tank. They didn't even ask to see it! Other than that it's all good (except for the weather in NY)
