I just took my 2013 seuc8 in to the dealer with a nail in the rear tire. I bought the wheel & tire coverage and dealer replaced the tire (5700 miles on It) zero charge to me. Dealer invoice was around $450.00. Glad  I had the coverage.

Generally, just one flat on the rear will pay for the tire/wheel coverage, so if it happens again, you'll be well ahead of the game.

My opinion is ALL insurance is a waste of money.... Until you need to use it!

Riding 20K miles/year, the ESP and Wheel and Tire is pretty much a shoe in.  I don't believe that our machines are built for that kind of use, but more for the average rider at 7K.  After 1 tire while on the road (Springfield, IL), and the clutch issues, I'm money ahead.  still have 17 months to go before it runs out.  If I ever buy another one, I'll go for the full 7 years.
