Are you talking about the lighting, or the actual placement of it? Went out and looked at mine, and it seems to line up perfectly.

Back off with the camera to show the entire tank and console so we can see the misalignment you mentioned.  I seem to remember someone else posting a similar comment some time back.

Just like it looks in the picture .. not an illusion .. the words really are offset like that in the emblem (more space lower left than upper right) .. every one at the stealership was like that .. almost like it was on purpose .. beginning to think I'm crazy the only one noticed

Mine is perfect. Spacing is equal around the entire emblem.

Easy enough to prove or disprove with some basic measurements.  Could be nothing more than an optical illusion.

LOL it's not an illusion, it's  1/8 of an inch offset.

Anyone have this apart yet?  I'd rather avoid it having to spend 3 days at the dealer just to get it shifted.

Now I see what you're talking about. The emblem itself doesn't appear to be centered in the dash looking at the spacing between the letters and the outside of the emblem.

I thinks it looks a little off in the pic.  I'll check mine later and report back.

New bike OCD .. I should just let it go before I make it worse lol

accept the fact that Nothing in this world is perfect, let it go and enjoy the bike bro!

here's a short story for inspiration, my brother bought a new Z-28 back in the day and notice that the hood lines didn't match exactly so he took it back for them to adjust it well they gave him back the car and now it had a dent in the hood, the idiot just pushed on the hood to try and bring it in and dented it, so he brings it back demanding a new hood which they wouldn't do said they would repair it like new, he got the car back and noticed a chip in the windshield took a while but they finally confessed that they hit it with the buffer so they had to replace the windshield too, icing on the cake, 4 years later a handprint shows up in the middle of the hood, the black scoop emblems peeled up and the paint all around the windshield peeled & rusted because they used the wrong sealant, he admits now he should have just accepted the minor defect because it snowballed into a huge mess that he regrets to this day.

my biggest heartburn is that the infotainment screen wont show all my album art  >:(  LOL
hopefully the new software update will fix it..... ::)

Spent some years in a dealership and agree with leaving the little things alone.
