2014 saddlebags retrofitted to older bikes
« on: June 27, 2014, 08:54:43 PM »

Reviewed Doc's question about the tourpak and thought I should create a thread just for the saddlebags. I'm sure there is much more involved with the change and it might devaluate the ride. Not sure if the costs would outweigh the benefits. Repaint and mount mods are just a few changes needed.

Is there another thread that discusses this in detail? Did a quick search but nothing came up.

I tried to mount my 2012 bags on my 2014, (for a while I considered updating the 12) mounts are slightly moved so pins don't line up. You will need new fender struts, and saddle bag supports. I believe rear fender is same part number. Remember that doesn't address the tour pak.
