They look great in the pictures. I wonder how long long till they show up at the dealers. It would be hard trading the Kryptonite bike in but, the silver is looking good.

I think they look like chit in the pics. That's why I want to see them in person. I just called 3 of my local dealers. Bikes not due in until later this week  :'(

So when we all go to the dealer to try to see one, how hard will the sales folk try to get us to trade up?  I am not sure that I have seen enough to justify starting over making a new CVO Street Glide fit me

I pretty much echo what most of the folks have said here.  For what I consider to be way more money, what am I gaining over my '11?

I would certainly be losing, a killer paint job, the tour pak, sissy bar, speakers in the lowers, and all of the custom additions and performance mods I've installed.  Oh and several boxes of parts I haven't even gotten to yet.   :cucumber:

Anyone who buys one of these bikes is going to have a beautiful ride, no doubt about it.  But at that price point for an SESG.  I'm out!

Just sayin...

I'm right in line with your thinking except I just have a 2013 Street Glide, with a bunch of upgrades that basically makes it a CVO without 110 or extended bags.

Really want a CVO, but to me a lightly used 2012 CVO is a better buy than a brand new CVO at $36.3k.

I'm not trading in my Kryptonite on any of these colors.

That's probably a good plan.  Plenty of low mileage used one's out there.

I like the silver hard candy.
Save 3k over a limited but lose:
1. driver backrest
2. passenger backrest
3. tour pack
4. remote bag lock?
5. passenger floor boards
6. 1" less suspension travel
7. heated seat
8. heated grips

Gain:
1. better looks...stretched bags/rear fender, 19" front wheel, overall styling.
2. more

Also loose auxiliary lights
Does the sg come with cb?

Always liked the black painted engine.  Still like the 2011 & 2012 SESG better.  JMO.

Whew!  I was really worried I would fall in love with the "NEW" CVO SG and have to get one.  I will keep my Krypto. Lets see what 2016 brings

Basically yep!

I would like to know what the higher compression is as well as the new cam specs.

Apparently the higher compression is the same as last years comparing specs.  HD made the higher compression claim in last years "features" ad.  So my guess is same 255 cams.  My error.
