Post by: Tele on March 22, 2013, 05:04:14 AM
Hi all anyone have any suggestions as to which slip on mufflers one might use on the 2013 cvo, I'm looking for a muffler that isn't to loud but has that low end rumble any help would be appreciated

No other sounds like the CFR, they are amazing, the deepest loudest rumble i have ether heard on any bike, nothing comes close!
I am even considering buying a bagger myself just so i can have some,

if you are going to stay with the stock headpipe, the Rush "Big Louie" 4" with the 2.5" baffle sounds real good. It is what I put on mine before I decided to put the Jackpot 2-1-2 on it.

If you decide at a later date to change your headpipe, you can just change your baffle size to match the mods ( new baffles are just $70.00)

There are so many different choices in this and it all boils down to what sound you like, If I were you, I would go to some bike nights and rallys and listen to the different combinations. You will find most people are very willing to let you listen and give you advise.

There are no power gains to be had with just slip-ons, so base it on the sound YOU like

I agree with the Rush slip ons.  Much less expensive.

Another alternative is Bassani Megaphones

I went with the Fullsac 2" baffles.  I love the look of the stock cans, just wanted more rumble.  I'd do the same again!  Oh, and they are half the price of Rush or any other slip on!

I went with the Fullsac cvo 2.25SD baffles nice deep sound....not loud if you keep your stock headers
I'll let you know how it sounds with the Fullsac DX headers after this weekend...might be a different story then  :2vrolijk_21:

You may also want to check into the Fuel Moto 4" Jackpot slipons.  They have a 2" baffle.  I ran both the Fullsac 1.75 and 2.0 cores and I think that the FM Jackpots produce the deepest, Harley rumble that I have heard to date.  Not ridiculously priced either.

My votes for the Fullsac I have the 2" baffles dx pipe and love the sound not to loud unless your twisting the throttle. Plus price and customer service there were great.

Had the CFR's very hard to tune on my streetglide................Im running the new jackpots with carbon ring end caps on my 2013 CVO Roadglide, all I can say is awsome sound and there dyno tuned mufflers. They look alot better than the CFR's also..........thought I would never want anythings else, but the jackpots are the ticket.

Beach Bum - sound is good...loud but not to loud. I would say not as loud as a Rinehart but it does sound Deep (deeper then rineharts) and have a low tone.
sounds great when you get on it....cruising speeds not loud at all I can hear my radio and my wife talking just fine....hmmmmm maybe I do need  louder mufflers ;)
I will take a video next time im out.

I have a pair of RC Components slips on I took off my 2012 cvo rgc for sale.  Nice sound, not too loud.  Retail at HD Dealer is $530+tax.  I'm asking $350 if interested.

i'm very happy with the fullsac sport pipe and 2'' baffles with the stock cans.  sounds great, not too loud and is still very stereo and neighbor friendly.
