Snap-On tools has supplied the tool kits before. Not knowing if the kit came with the bike, you could compare the pricing berween the H-D supplied kit a d ths Snap-On kit.
In fact I will call our Snap-On dealer today to get an idea of the price.

I just bought a 5/32 ball end hex wrench for my tool kit. I was really surprised it didn't come with one because it's the required tool to adjust your headlight! I found out the hard way at 10pm with a headlight pointed straight down LOL.

Funny I have added several different tools to my toolkit that came in my 07 and back then I think we actually got more tools than the newer ones get now.

I also have made my own tool kit from the kit that I received with an old bike, those did come with more, rolled up in a vice grip holder, so far never have used it on any of mine, but has came in handy for others while on the road.

I have one similar to that made by Cruz Tools - RoadTech Tear Drop purchased back when I had my Fatboy w/the chrome tear drop tool box. I kept the tool kit when I sold the Fatboy and carry it in my saddlebag... the H-D supplied toolkit is sitting somewhere off the bike.

The Harley supplied tool kit, P/N 14900001, has an MSRP of $71.35, which is definitely NOT Snap-On territory.  More like Harbor Freight territory.

HD tool kit is not Snap on quality tools, HD tools emergency on the road use, not shop quality. 

I believe the 330 price for snap on set, high, overpriced unless you make a living with them.

I have at least 8 of the HD tool kits. NONE of them ever were close to a Snap-On tool. I also never hauled any of them on the bike, they are all still new and in the bottom of the roll-a-round where they went the day I brought the bikes home. Honestly I do not remember ever needing them for my bikes, luckily, but if I had they are such poor quality I would have attempted to borrow good tools for the job.

Yes Snap-On tools are on the high side. But they hold up very well on a daily used tool. I have abused the crap out of them,  and we know what PMS means, Pay Mr. Snap-on

Replaced mine with the Cruz Roadtech H3 for about $100.  Have to say its a decent kit for the price.

I agree about the quality for sure. I have a few Snap On items such as tq wrench which is a very nice quality tool and came with a heavy plastic case. Also agree if you use em every day they are worth it. If it breaks the nice man on the truck will give you a new one.
