JM2C...if I'm at a dealer that has a '15 CVO and he isn't discounting it, then I'm going with a '16.  I couldn't pay MSRP for a bike that's already a year old.

2016 SESG is a HUGE disappointment. Leftover paint scheme in different colors - two of which are boring as f**k. Last year's Hard Candy Mercury was MUCH better... As was the beautiful yellow, despite the problems that made them disco it mid-year...

I think they need to DUMP Gunslinger. We have MUCH better painters right here this site!

But I'm with Aussie... Why would I trade when I think I've already GOT the prettiest SESG ever?

OK, the awesome 2011 SESG Krypto is right up there with it!

Just heard/read yesterday that Gunslinger has new owners and they're not doing CVO bikes. Just passing it along as I have no firm proof of that.

With all the money Harley has, you'd think that they could do all of their "custom" paint in house!  Gunslinger is a boutique shop...10 bikes maybe...be to constantly paint Harley's top on the line bikes....they did OK.

I would have agreed with you all until I dropped into my local dealer on Saturday and saw the white amethyst black licorice color , pictures do not do justice to that bike , in pics you don't see the purple in it at all , around the outside of the flames is a purple pin stripe and in all the black there is a purple metallic flake its suttle but |I bet it looks awesome in the sun , I wasn't even considering a new bike until I saw it now I am seriously considering trading my 2010 cvo in on it

Tommy showed up at MV this year with a new one. You're right, there's no way in hell to appreciate that bike unless you see it in person.

I have a friend who works there and they are still painting CVO bikes. They just paint parts of a bike and other custom shops paint other parts. They don't do the whole thing.
