SORRY for the loss of your close friend. I know there are no words to take away the hurt & emptiness right now. Just know that God provides us the peace & comfort to get thru times as these. He, THE LORD, gives us just what we need. Praying for you & the family. focus your eyes on Jesus Christ.

A well written tribute to your best friend. Obviously a huge loss for so many. I am distant, I've never heard of the fellow, but in a few words you have told his story and importantly spread his message. Hat's off to you for being his friend. Condolences to you and his his circle of friends and family.
veterans' services are especially poignant. Your well-chosen words drive it home.
