Folks,

Anyone with the 2013 Parts Catalog that can look up the part number for the 2013 CVO Windshield??

I have the 2012 and for mine it is part number 57400106. But the new one has the HD engraved, so trying to find the part number for the new one.

Yes, but that is not the same one on the 2013 CVO... take a look at this photo. Towards the bottom of the windshield you can read the Harley Davidson...

That picture appears shorter than the ones I have seen at the dealer and the ones on the Harley website for the Road Glide Custom. Is it from a production bike or an early demo for the press? The shorter wind splitter on the HD website is here: Wind Splitter Windshield-57400093 No engraving.
Many have swapped out windshields...

I have to stop by the dealer today, I will try to find out if that was just a pre-prod windshield or something specific to the 2013 CVO.

There is a fellow forum member in Roadglide.org that is buying one and I suggested going with the CVO unit just because how cool I thought the engraving/etching looked...

it is not a pre-production windshield. it also is not shorter than the regular 12'' windsplitter. it is an oem part for the 2013 road glide custom. i don't have the parts manual for my bike yet, and the 2013s are not on the ronnie's microfiche yet so i can't give you the part number.....

Can you confirm if the CVO rubber gasket comes with the windshield? I have the regular 12" windsplitter on my non-CVO Road Glide Custom. I would like to change it out with the 2013 CVO 12 inch with the HD graphics - but almost as much I am looking for the CVO gasket. I finally took the POS gasket off of my current windsplitter. It just won't stay up.

I don't know... What I do know is that HD finally updated the rubber trim. So just get the new one: part number 57300013

Or you can order just the CVO gasket. Part number is 57660-09 list price is $32.50.

Thanks - I may order the WS and both gaskets. Are you confident the the WS part number you shared is the one displayed on the RGC CVO in this thread?

Yes. Got the part number while at the dealer. Directly from the 2013 CVO parts catalog.

I went ahead and ordered the WS. Surdyke was not sure, but thought the assembly included the gasket / molding - so I did not order the stand alone gasket.

The part is on Back Order until first week in August - just want to get it on before I head to the 110'th celebration.

Got my new WS assembly today from Surdyke - Black HD across the front. Looks great - can't wait to get it mounted.

For the record - it is a complete WS assembly - comes with Windshield, CVO gasket, and a set of well-nuts.

Also ordered new well nuts to replace the goofy 2 piece well nut system that HD has. Put the following description in EBay:

Well Nuts #10-32 .807 Length 3/8" Hole

They fit perfectly and cannot fall down inside the fairing.

Don't know why anyone would want the stock splitter - they are worthless over 50mph. Actually the buffeting so so bad they are worse than worthless.

Also find that the 2013 windsplitter on my cvo rg works great for me (and I put a lot of highway miles on my bike). On my last rg (non-cv0), i had a large aftermarket windshield which I actually looked through in order to get as much wind protection as reasonably possible. I will not be changing my shield.
