Getting seat discoloration on leather seat insert. Seems after getting caught in the rain it's blotchy. Is this normal being leather??? Used the wax they provided.

That's not discoloration, it's called patina.  And yes, H-D considers it to be a normal process to be expected on their leather seats.  (all kidding aside, they really do)

Same with my seat after 3 weeks. Harley's rep said to my dealer "that's normal". That's a joke. The cost of the seat is over 700,00$ in Montreal (Canada) area.

Never let it dry (if it get really wet) in the direct sun it will shrink and the leather will get hard as a rock. Treat it with leather protector keep it out of the rain when possible (cover at night) and dry it slowly out of direct sunlight.
