Anyone can tell where this this clip goes?

Holds one of the spark plug wires.   Or maybe two?   Down on the frame somewhere.   Can't remember where.   Thanks   Stuart.

My 2010 plug wires are not held by a clip like that.  There are fasteners like that down the RH frame rail below the transmission and cam chest that hold the rear brake line etc..  Hopefully someone knows exactly Stuart..   It could be from inside the inner fairing also-holds wires to the radio.   :nixweiss:

I think I took it out when  I put the heat deflectors on.   I took them off for the summer. Try to get some more air to the motor.   Maybe someone with a sg knows. :nixweiss:

yes,...spark plug wire clip ... where you removed the deflector ...just behind that area are the holes that the clip pops into ...

It is used to secure a plug wire, but I can't tell where it actually plugs into the frame or coil bracket or wherever.

It goes in the flat steel plate in front of the battery compartment facing towards the engine right above the transmission. If you look under the seat on the shifter side of the bike you will see a small hole in the vertical plate that spans between the frame rails.

Thanks for the pics.   Don't feel bad.   Lots of us need a good cleaning under there.     I think that clip I have goes way up high by the seat.  I found a hole there so I put the wire in in and stuck it in there last night.   Had nothing to do.  So I went hunting.  Then a couple of special zip ties down low.    Thanks lots.  Stuart
