Left saddlebag quartering downshot... the audio system on this bike is the ROXXY!!! It'll sure blast out the tunes! It's like I am in a cocoon of sound... even at 80 MPH! not that I'd EVER speed on this thing... heh heh...

Apple iPod interface in right saddlebag with the supplied 8GB iPod Nano. An iPhone or iPod will also work if you start the iPod app, but isn't "supported" by the MoCo...

Thanks, Bubblehead! (He and I met for a beer this evening - which gave me a chance to show it off again! Heehee...) I agreed to buy it before I had even seen it... and bought it after I saw it all prepped and ready to be delivered! When I first laid my eyes on it in the dealer's shop, I was thrilled. It is just stunning to look at, especially in bright sunlight. It just... GLOWS! I am one Happy-ASS Dude and pretty darn lucky to have found one of these so quickly!

This is the first SESG3 I've seen--pulled into Killer Creek HD Sunday afternoon and there it was in bright sun--beautiful bike and I didn't know it had pinstriping on the fairing and rear fender until I saw it.  The owner, whom I didn't know, was talking with one of the parts guys.  The owner and I talked a bit, and I asked him if he was familiar with cvoharley.com.  He replied that his indy told him about it that morning and he registered.

NDH is a very good guy--we've exchanged a couple of PM's and had a nice phone conversation today; very enthusiastic new owner (and who wouldn't be--the bike's magnificient); and, the sound system w/o the bike running was great.  NDH was very generous with his time showing me the bike yesterday, including opening the saddlebags to see the audio components in the lids.

NDH, when you can, post some pics of the inside of the lids; that speaker set-up and ipod module mount is unique to the SESG3.

Congrats on the new bike, and look forward to riding with you soon.

Thanks very much, Carl. It was great meeting you, too. And thanks again for gently reminding me to get the H-D Shop Manual and pointing out the FLHXSE3 Supplement... they are both on order!

I was really surprised at the "layered" flames on the bike. The MOCO did a good job on the 2012 SESG.

Have you considered painting the saddlebag speaker grills to match?  Just wondering.
