Ken.   It's time to beef up that wimpy stock stereo.   Amp speakers. And more.  Join in on the fun.  :)

Thanks, folks!

And Cowboy... Hopefully it won't be the LAST mod, but I AM running out of things to do... unless I decide to really tear into the engine and beef up the bottom end, have head work done, and maybe put in hi-comp pistons.

But those new HAT saddlebag speakers in Rich's thread look pretty darned interesting!

Subwoofer in the Tour Pak, maybe???

 8)

Ken

Ken,

I've got my eye on those HAT speakers too!  They look pretty cool!

I'm getting a little engine work done as we speak.  T Man head work, SE 10.5 pistons, SE 58mm throttle body, lifters, push rods, TTS tuner and T Man 600 cam.  Should be somewhere around 125 squared according to my tuner who was trained by Doc.  Really looking forward to getting it done.

I should have gone to Bike Week. Maybe next year...

Awesome you did a photo shoot with ABM! Your crazy-gorgeous SESG should be on the COVER!

I don't know why I waited so long to get the NGHAWG tag... I had planned to get it for my old '95 Evo FLHTP "Bertha" years ago, but I just never did. Maybe I just had to wait for the right time!

I have been following the thread about the Wards Parts Werks (http://wardspartswerks.com) cooling fans on HDForums for forum for a few months. A friend of mine has had them for a couple of months, and really likes them. The beauty of these is that the fans are right in front of the cylinder heads, and they blow a high volume of cool air right ON the hottest part of the engine - the heads. I think this approach is MUCH better than the big "parade fans" and other approaches I've seen.

I put in an order with a $50 deposit for a set about three weeks ago on the Wards Parts Werks site, fully expecting to wait until Oct/Nov. I ordered them in the CVO Granite with Granite screens so they be visually unobtrusive.

Well, Jason billed me early last week, I paid instantly, and the fans arrived yesterday. I was DELIGHTED! I installed them in about an hour. I had to do a bit of creative engineering, because I have a custom MetalArts air horn (Wolo Big Boy inside) with a big chrome cover that I had to figure out how to shim out about 3/8" to make everything fit. But when all was said and done, the fans fit behind the Ball o' Flames air horn perfectly!

We took a ride yesterday evening up to Lake Burton for dinner, about 3 hours total ride time, and I could not hear the fans at all with the engine running. I'm really glad I got them!

Is this right? I don't know nuthing, is this the right battery lead, etc?

My first & last CVO, Scarlett, arrived 6-1-12. I always remember my mom while riding.  She had smarts with a spirit of independence & adventure. "You Gotta LIVE!", was her motto; her favorite color red, and she loved BLING.

I finally got around to installing the Dynamic Ringz from Custom Dynamics on Honey Badger this morning, before our inaugural 2015 season ride up to Dahlonega for lunch at The Smith House there.

I ordered the Ringz back in like October, and they've been sitting here in the Badger Den garage ever since then. I got their load equalizer for SESGs/SERGs/SERKs as well. It plugged right into the rear light connector under the seat.

MAN, the outer white LED rings on these are BRIGHT! And the amber turn signal LEDs are also much brighter than the stock 1157 amber turn signal bulbs. If anyone oncoming can't see these, they're blind!

I also got CD's CVO Magic Strobe to make the rear brake lights pulse. I left it on the default 4-blinks-then-steady mode for now. It plugged right in after the load equalizer. Works great, but I'll now need to rewire the Tour Pak brake wire and the saddlebag spoiler brake wires to go through it - so the TP Spoiler LEDs, TP light bar LEDs, and the saddlebag spoiler LEDs will all blink bright on the brake signal, too.
