FXR3 ad
« on: July 19, 2014, 12:02:57 PM »

https://omaha.craigslist.org/mcy/4570348343.html

OK FXR3 owners, I was trolling CL recently and came across this FXR3 for sale ad, above.  The 2nd sentence of the ad reads, "It is all stock and in pristine condition.".  While it does look clean, there is the aftermarket exhaust, however, there is one glaring omission.  I've posted this question on another site, but after 40 views and two incorrect answers, I've decided to start this thread on CVO.   Surely, you FXR3 owners should spot this glaring omission of truth immediately...

True, but you're still missing the most important one.

So at the very least it's been wrecked, or is a clone of an FXR3.  The price isn't bad, depending on actual miles.  Whoever buys it better check the VIN and do a search.

After asking him about the paint job, the seller disclosed that the bike "had a fall" and had been "professionally" repainted.
Good point when you say the "price isn't bad, depending on the actual miles" - which leads me to the next question -  How much more would this bike be worth with the stock paint job?

Between $500-$1,000 more. You could get a good painter to duplicate the paint job for that. Bike wouldn't handle any better tho.
