Anybody Try Harley Davidson's Switchback Goggles? How dark do they get in the sun? Most don't get dark enough for me.

after my first real long ride yesterday and having problems with seeing
I've got to find something like goggles
that I can put over my glasses! can't see crap without them and unless I wear my full coverage which is not always desirable in this Texas heat I'm considering also!
found some "Aviator goggles" that might work,
but I'll look like a giant fly on a bike I'm sure!

so I'll be watching your success on what you find!

Have you considered something like this?

Reasonable prices and "Try before you buy"

I just resolved my problem

http://www.rx-safety.com/wiley-x-prescription-eyewear

all I had to do was send them my prescription and the these
http://www.rx-safety.com/brands/wiley-x-eyewear/prescription-wiley-x/climate-control/wiley-x-blink-wx-556f.html

only cost me about $210.00
hell when I got my new prescription this year the doc talked me into prescription sun glasses and they where $475.00 and they suck!

Try 7Eye aka Panoptyx. You can get the photochromic lenses in your Rx in various styles. Not cheap, but well worth it.

http://www.7eye.com/home.php

I wear The fixed eye-cup Cyclone model and the identical removable eye-cup Diablo models exclusively.

FWIW, the black photochromic Cyclones are on-sale on the 7 Eye website for $99!!!
