No problem.  whats the differences in your new RG and 01?  ride and  feel wise I mean?

Well,
Imagine driving a 2001 Mustang GT and then going to a 2012 Mustang GT.
Almost 150 more horsepower, newer suspension and newer electronic features in the 12.
The 01 is a great bike and is part of the family, but the 12 is the 01 with 11 years of updating.
Does that answer your question?

 ;)

Chip, I saw this thread yesterday and had to look at the title to see exactly when I bought it. February 22, 2006, it had 9,200 miles on it and it now has right at 60,000. I still love it, I just wish I had more motor. Maybe one of these days.

I purchased my triple red Screaming Eagle Road Glide new from Harley Davidson Cycle Center in Pocassett Ma on July 11th 2000.

The story of how I bought the bike and almost didn't buy the bike is a long and interesting one, maybe I'll start a thread and tell it some time.

The bike now has 103,000+ miles and has been to 37 states, Sturgis twice (with side trips to Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, Bear tooth Pass, And Glacier National Park, and finally the Canadian side of Niagra Falls (8000 miles in three weeks), and Key West a couple of times all ridden from my home state of Ma. I now have a 117 inch stroker in it and am in the process of converting it to Delphi EFI.

Bought my Orange & Black about three years ago and am the 3rd owner.  Typically I ride my '08 Casper most of the time but we have taken a few trips on this one while somthing else was being repaired.
