"Willy Shiny" front wheel axle spacers-Chrome of course
« on: April 24, 2009, 07:59:01 AM »

Joe of Willy Shiny makes a chrome front axle/wheel spacer that also covers up the rotor bolts.  Does not have them for ABS bikes yet but is working on them.

He doesn't have them for ABS yet.  Bought the chrome wheels, lowers, and upper cans from Joe.  He changed out the wheel bearings for me also.  Was good to work with.

Yeah Talon, she would definitely prefer the gems/gold.

Did he give an idea on the ABS version? These are very nice, I want!

When I ordered my parts last week, he had just bought a front ABS sensor off Ebay to do his mock up on the front spacers for ABS..  I'm guessing 45-90 days out.

For now, I just bought the HD ABS front axle spacer kit which is a chrome spacer on the RH side and a chrome cover that covers the black ABS sensor.

Thanks for the info. I bookmarked this so I can remember to check later.  :2vrolijk_21:

So it's a spacer inside with a solid cover slipped over, or one piece?

They were selling hot and heavy on eBay last year for a few months.  This thead reminded me those parts are in a drawer here somewhere waiting for an excuse to have the front wheels off either bike.

Ought to check out the wheels section of their website also.  Doing some interesting machine work to dress out old solid Fatboy wheels.

I believe for the non ABS bikes, they are one piece solid material (may be hollow to clear the screws for the rotors).  Just like the MOCO's chrome spacer, just larger to cover the rotor screws.

If he is able to do for the ABS bikes for the sensor, it would have to be a shell to cover the sensor and the wire to poke thru as the ABS sensor is actually the spacer on the LH side.

He already has a spacer for the LH side for ABS, just not the ABS sensor side.
