In need of the best riding Underware!
« on: October 11, 2013, 10:22:07 PM »

Sorry guys, I need some protection for my boney ass. I like the Jockys mid lenght but on a 41 day trip the soft mesh between the legs took its toll. I don't like the seems on the Under Armour, they ride on the bones.  My boney ass needs help!

I use Icebreaker. Great quality and very comfortable

$49.99 for boxers....Rooster would go commando before he spent that  :huepfenlol2:
Neither one of us have problems with our everyday underwear. In the heat we do have Wickers...thanks to the Nelson GTG and all of the talk about underwear.  :P  when packing for trips we joke about...don't forget your wickers  ;D

Good luck on your search  :bananarock:

My buddys like the lamb wool thing that straps to the seat.  I've never used on but they swear by it.

I have a couple of friends that use and swear by the sheep skin on top of the seat but I'm to short to add anything to my seat making my feet further from the ground if you know what I mean.

Rode the 1500 mile iron butt in 33 hours two weeks ago. I was sporting the LDS shorts. BEST money I have spent for this sort of thing. Very comfortable for the entire ride. Highly recommended!

Exofficio for me, boxer briefs. No seams where they don't need to be and they wick moisture away from where you don't want it to be.

Exofficio, you can hand wash and they dry over night only need 2 pair for 10 days or 2 months  ;D

Haven't come across them, but same goes for LD. I don't like to machine wash them for the "burr" effect, same goes for under armour gear. Delicate and air dry, no softener. IDK why, but something about breaking down the ability to wick moisture.

Tut, you definitely won't get monkey butt from LD lol
