Hi all,
My, new to me. 2015 CVO SG with only 300 miles on it is on it's way from Texas to me here in Long Island and I can't wait!  In the pics, I noticed this black part below the license plate that looks odd.  Every plate bracket I've seen doesn't go below the plate.  Or does it have anything to do with the bracket at all?

In Texas, they used to require a separate inspection sticker every year and the black part was where you put the sticker. No longer required here now as of this year.

Naw, man, it's a spoiler to keep the back tire down.  I hear it adds 5-10 hp, too!   

Just joking - glad they combined the inspection with the tags, but wish they would get rid of the inspection (TAX) altogether.

I ask because it looks horrible and want to know if I need to order a normal NY Plate Bracket or is it a decal that peels off, or if it's part of the bracket, can I trim it off so that it's hidden?

Good luck with the new ride......I have the Yaffe plate bracket on mine and it looks much better. We can meet up if you want to see it--I'm in Westbury! We are practically neighbors.....

Not sure about that particular one, but most are just a plastic add-on piece that can easily be removed and doesn't affect the plate bracket.

It's just a plate added behind the license and not part of the bike. It's where we use to display our state inspection. You can remove without any issues.
