Airflow Highway Pegs
« on: July 24, 2016, 11:38:47 PM »

I just ordered the Harley Airflow Highway pegs to match my scheme in the 2015 CVO.  My question is, are these the exact ones that are on used as the passenger pegs?  I plan to remove them as I will make it a solo riders bike, no rear seat and no passenger pegs.  If they are the same, I can just use them as the highway pegs along with the long angle mounts?  See pic.  Thanks again!

Yes that's correct. But rethink about the long angled mounts. I have the short ones and I'm very happy with it. I'm 5'11 tall.

My objective with the long angle mounts is to position them near the floorboards so that I can rest the heel of my boot on the floorboard and the front of my foot on the highway peg, rather than elevating my foot.  Would that make sense then?

I have the long angled mounts on my Limited and the short angled on my street glide. Both work with rest foot on peg and floor board at the same time. I find the long a little more comfortable. It depends on how long your legs are, 5'9" 32 inch in seam here.

or how short your legs are.  i have the long angled set up the same say.  i can rest my heels on the floorboards and my toes on the pegs.  if i use the short, i wouldn't even be able to reach them.  5'4'', 29 inseam.

I used the long angled set for my pegs. Heel on footplate and toes on peg. Also can rest foot totally on peg. Pegs are not the CVO type but they do me ok.

Does the long or short angle mounts mar the finish of the black engine guards?

I had the black short angled ones on my Fatboy Lo and they can mar the finish.  I was careful to mock them up with painters tape to get the positioning right and then torque them down.
