There's a rider on the ElectraGlide Garage that has one, and he reports that it works as advertised. It moves the stagnant air off the fins on the head. He says it's as good as the HD one. I think it's switch operated, and not thermostat controlled.

I've put it on my '06 and have found it to be what was expected. Riding up and down I-95 and stuck in the traffic I found it to be worthe the price.

This is the low down:

H-D Horn Cover converted to fan and well done I believe.
Switch is easily accessible....just have to turn it on before coming to a stop or place the bike in nuetral then flip the switch. Bike never faltered in sitting traffic after running hard and then coming to a 15 minute drag your feet kind of stop.

Easily installed and very good instructions.

It does have a very weak horn that is attached when you mount it and is barely visible....and if the truth be told isn't worth putting it on (If the engine and radio were off....and the wind was not blowing a mouse might just hear it (ha) .  This is the only thing about it that has caused me to purchase a Stebel Compact Air Horn and looking for a place to mount it.

Anyone looked into the space available in the fan/horn assy to install a louder horn in place of the one they come with? Does it look like a stock HD horn mount arrangement and dimensions?

Like the idea of additional cooling but don't want to go through all the tasks associated with splitting up a Stebel air horn, etc.   :nixweiss:

The only thing that I've seen to work is to move the horn to the left frame down tube.  The Le Nale (Ebay) site shows this on their gallery at the bottom of the page.

I agree and it works great. I have a softail springer horn mounted near the oil cooler for a better sound. Sorry, no picture, the bike is in storage right now.
