FLSTNSE what comes with your new bike?
« on: October 25, 2014, 02:40:10 PM »

Hello

my new FLSTNSE will be delivered within the next 3 weeks. I am wondering what will be delivered with the bike.

So far is I know the following goodies should be attached.

- saddle bag case with CVO embroidered
- bike cover with CVO embroidered
- Navi Road Tech (Garmin 660)
- Gold(brass) Key?
- Bags, Windshield, bagrest
- instruction manual

Would be great when you could tell what was delivered with your MY 15 bike, especially for Europe bikes.

Thanks  :pepper: Torsten  :pepper:

Hi Torsten,

you will get:
 - Windshield
 - Garmin and accessories (have seen better nav. systems)
 - bike cover with CVO on it
 - bags
 - sissy bar
 - manual
you will not get:
 - gold key
 - saddle bag case with CVO embroidered
at least I did not get it with my 2014 CVO Deluxe

The cold coin with dog tag and museum entry passes came a few months later by mail and had to pick them up at the customs clearance in Heidelberg.

For the rest, look forward to an excellent bike. I love the versatility of the bike. Windshield, bags and sissy bar on and you are ready for a long trip. Without all that stuff you have a beautiful Deluxe for a cruise on the weekend. Of course I like the toruing bikes of HD but you carry tons of weight around which you don't need on a Saturday fun ride.
Watch out for locks on the saddle bags - they come loose and you might loose the small pin inside that locks the bag. ABS had a loose connection in the beginning but is OK ever since the dealer fixed it. If you get another exhaust (Kesstech, V&H) make sure to install HD Super Tuner or another one. I put 8K KM on mine this year and I am absolutely happy with it.
Have fun and send a pic once it arrives. What color are you getting?

Hi to Freudenbergtown(internal joke)

thanks for the hints. I have heard about the problems with the saddle bag locks but nothing about the ABS issue.
With the Garmin 660 you are absolutly right, will be first thing in Ebay.

I am coming from the Street Glide and the idea is back to the (bike) roots and closer to the street.

Ohh,  bike will be in black.

Hi Torsten,

You will definitely get closer to the street with the CVO Deluxe. Hope for some good weather in fall so you will have a chance to take her out. Send a pic when the bike arrives, I would like to see that color in real on the street.

In case of any other questions drop a mail or use the forum. Found some really good info and advice here.

I wish you lot's of fun with the bike and always a safe ride.

As an critical automotive engineer I am not realy happy about the condition as supplied to the customer for a CVO Harley. Lots of details unacceptable but hope we fix it during winter time.

For those who interested what should come with the bike in Europe here are the list:

- GPS 660 with lifeupdate  for Europe
- COC paper, Zulassungsbescheinigung, HD certificate, birth date document
- Gold key (very nice !!!)
- P+A payment book
- Leather grease
- air intake sock
- 2 keys
- Manual
- bike cover CVO

regards Torsten

Very nice bike, my 2014 didnt come with a birth date document!!! Definitely agree with the earlier comment, if you put exhaust get it tuned, mine ran real hot until it got tuned.

I had no gold key with mine. I received a stupid gold coin, later.

My bike didn't come with a birth date document... I wrote to HD a nice letter, with picture, etc, to have info about production numbers, and the number of my bike in the serial, but I received no answer, not even a two words to say they do not have info.

Anyway, the bike is great, this is what counts...

@ Dityike and Ben 31

Please have a look at my new Avatar. Thats the key that I got with my bike. By the way it realy works and it is not only for show.

The birth certificate you should get from your dealer. I got 3 pages which shows exactly that the bike (ECU) was connected to the HD System and that all functions are ok. This procedure is necessary to start the guarantee. I got also the confirmation that all recall actions are done. The dealer did also a battery check and I got a certificate that the battery is in first class condition.

I had several other small issues on the bike, most of these are solved now. But my main issue is still that the steeringhead ball bearing is not greased. Also the saddlebag fixing Points are a disaster and I fixed both by myself.

No Key with any of the '14's.  The '15's come with keys.

Hi everyone!
My name is Sebastian, I'm form Germany and new to this forum! Actually I'm new to Harley as well.

I just got news from my Harley dealer, that my bike is on the way to Germany and I hopefully will get it within the next 2-4 weeks ;D

Now I try to get last info what comes with the bike.

Will the Garmin 660 include all accessoires (car mount...) as I would have bougt it separately?!?
