Are you selling any HC Mercury parts?

Might be nice to have spares parts.

All of them as a set...I don't want to piece it out.

First thing I did was installed the new CC skirt and CC front fender

I like the chrome skirt better  :drink:

No offense intended, but this seems absolutely INSANE! Why not trade for one? Seems like it'd be a wash with the cost of all the parts vs taxes, etc.

Was this a ton of work?  You could have bought the carbon crystal and put a chrome 120 in for cheaper....?

Few things

I bought the tins as an entire set and although I won't say how much it was, I will say that it was a reasonable price.

I owe 25k, why would I trade it in and lose all my equity?

The factory carbon Crystal bike is blacked out save for the pipes, I still have an awesome chrome front end, chrome primary, chrome engine parts, chrome engine guards, chrome handle bars, chrome controls.

Also if I sell my set...Key word is If, I will have doubled my money.

And I did all the work myself. I have done a tin swap before so I have plenty of experience.

Good points ZVO - a trade in would most likely result in a financial bloodbath as I learned when investigating trading my SEUC at several dealerships. I wasn't planning to make a change, but was curious about what the dealer had to say. No good news from that quarter - I'll be keeping my bike, which I like quite well, forever...

Maybe there is someone out there who wants to convert their Carbon Crystal to a HC Mercury and you can swap/sell parts to one another because the lowers in HC w the rest Carbon--well, let's just say that is really different.

Gotta give you credit for venturing into this project--at least you can convert it back if you choose. Are you riding this as you go thru your conversion?

This just showed up at the dealer...now I can see what mine could look like. The blacked out engine looks nice.

I'm on the home stretch...got the fairing on and did one saddlebag I'll finish up the other bag later...

Pro tip that amp is a mother to get off its on a metal bracket that's glued to the saddlebag...
