What paint issues?  Runs in the paint, finger prints in the clear?

Pita, yes, the saddle bag wire harness was moved to the bottom of the bag, and is smaller.  Not a hassle.

No paint overspray - clear chipping around the edge of the outer faring.  Bubble in the clear that popped in the rear fender, under the passenger pillion.   Side cover looked like someone pressed their clothing up against it and then it was cleared.  Other than these, flawless.

I'm not at tech savvy as I'd like to be, but here's a pic. Doesn't do the licorice justice.  It's a stunner.  Did Full Sac header, V&H Monster Rounds, SERT; highway pegs and solo seat.  Thanks to the dealer's keen eye, before I took it home, they already ordered replacements - outer faring, side cover, back fender - due to paint imperfections.   
Agreed, no key, no special do-dad, but they do include head set for the audio, which I won't use.  The Boom Audio is night & day from the RG Stage 1 upgrade I had done; and nice to have the back speakers back.

I was just looking at that color on YouTube and told my hubby I like that better than my 15.5 carbon crystal... he's been drooling over my new bike with the boom2 audio system and color since I got it...so he said get the 16 and we'll trade in his 012 flhxse3

I just placed my order for a 2016 Street Glide, trading Clyde the Glide (2012 Street Glide CVO) in for the Black Licorice with blue flames. Hopefully I see before next years riding season. I'm excited to get the electronics upgrades

its mind boggling to see they are once again having paint issues in 2016 cvo's . i lost my bike for 2 months before i took delivery due to the same issue.

Lblesmr - Congratulations on your White Amethyst & Blk Licorice!   Very clean looking.
The hubby is hoping our dealer will get/find one for him.  How's the Black Licorice secondary color?  Lots of purple flake?
Is the white a crisp white with I imagine a pinky/lavender flake dust in it?

No paint issues?
Agreed re: paint.  For the 'price of admission', flawless is my expectation, but our dealer will make it right.  They're worth the 100+ mile roundtrip!  Heading out next week for ~600 mile getaway and will get to break in mine.
