One of the head mechanics at the dealer told me that one guy with a 103 Limited is getting 55 mpg w/ stage one and good dyno tune! -not sure what cams.
He's the guy that did all the work on my bike, and he thinks it runs very strong.  -just got the new A/C yesterday.
Anyway, he wasn't surprised at the mpg.

I'm calling BS on 55... Nothing directed at you Steve, just don't buy what he's saying.  :nixweiss:

We've all likely gotten 55 mpg when riding at a steady speed of 100 km per hour with a 40 km per hour tailwind at your back. At the opposite end I've probably gotten less than 30 mpg when riding at high speeds. On average I tend to get anywhere from 40 to 45 mpg and the Power Vision confirms that indicating I averaged 45 mpg on my last trip. I'm happy with that.

OR...maybe that rider rides his/her Harley like a little scooter. It's a Harley for #%%# sake.  :). It's a 2-piston, non-overhead cam, pushrod, old technology motorcycle, that weighs as much as a small whale.

With a proper tune, don't expect 48 mpg. ;D
