I have no problem doing the spreadsheet if FR8 doesn't want to do it.  Can I get a copy to keep it in the same format?

Thanks Kaz,

I am suckng up all the information on this forum, I decided to purchase this bike for my wifes comfort, I also ride a 98 Springer and and 04-VRSCA.

Up to know, I kinda dismissed touring bikes, but the creature comforts of this ride are as addicting as the power on the Vrod, I am looking forward to completing break-in soon, I am anxious to feel the full (stock) potential of the rig. Since my Saturday pickup day, I have logged about 220 miles (really crappy weather Sunday & Monday), I am off from work until the 26th and the forcasts are looking better after Thursday/Friday.

I say Stock, because like others have mentioned, the Secretary of the Treasurey  (me wife) has deemed that the funds alloted for this bike will -not- include noisey pipes, or even one extra chrome do-dad, the bike is beautiful as is, she has impressive power, compared to the Ol'Springer.  The bike is primarily for her enjoyment, I have the Vrod (Wiesco-1320-Kit) to play with if ya know what I mean!

Maries first ride on it as a joy, she gets chilly this time of year which means either no rides or very short ones, when I flicked her seat heat on, she was a happy camper on the cool ride home.

I know what you mean about the SOF. Mine is always watching what I do. Hey on the pipes, take off the the end caps and you will see 3 little weld tacs. Bust them lose and pull out the center pipe. It's about 12-18 inches long put back the end caps and you will get a little more rumble with no expense.

Enjoy the ride and yep that heated seat works wonders. I am in Pottstown PA so we have on and off rain and warmth.
Ride safe. [smiley=jalapeno.gif]

Red,

My bike is still at the dealer waiting on the calibration mod for the FI and a couple of the parts I ordered. I can't get the picture right now. I picked up the antennas at Auto Zone. The CB antenna is made for and comes with a magnet mount base and will go on just like the factory one did. You will have to put a 1/4 inch spacer on before you screw on the antennas or they bottom out and leave a gap.

Ok, I'm not a whiz on this message board. Where/How can I view the 2007 Registry in excel format? I'll get my info today and add to this registry.

Morning HogBreath,

Actually, It's not exist a registry on .xls format.
I've never seen on the site.
Sure, it's more easy to have a global view of the serial numbers of the CVO's owners of the site.

Jacques

Morning Jacques.

I found an xls spreadhseet at the beginning of this thread for the 2006's. I assumed they were making one for the 2007's. I'm new here, so maybe I'm wrong, AGAIN.

Guys,

I have it together and updated in exel like the 2006 registry, I just don't have a place to host it so that it's a free access file.  If anyone has a place where I can post it and update it, it would be appreciated!!

I read the 06 registry yesterday from this thread in excel format. One the first page of this thread, FR8TRN made a post. At the bottom was a photo of him on a green 06 SEUC. Directly under that photo was this link "2006 Screamin Eagle Ultra Classic Registry". clicl on that and the excel spreadsheet opens up.

Call me a cynic guys, but have you ever noticed that when they show vehicles on TV, they fuzzy out the license plates. Now why do you suppose that is. I could glean enough information from the posts on this thread to find all of your houses and then sit somewhere and watch your habits for a couple of days and - - - - - -well I think you can see where this is headed. Nowadays you cannot get someone's address from their license plate because of this very scenario. BUT, you guys have provided everything but street names and numbers. With your name, your home town and the color and make of your bike, how hard would it be to find you. This thread is a bad idea. Theives do not want your bikes to ride. They want the 110 internals. They want the 6 speed trannies. They want the electronics. They toss the engine cases, trans cases, frames and other parts with traceable VIN segments. Your seat, your sheet metal. Chit dudes, look at the market on e-bay for used parts. I'm not sayin all this to be a jerk guys. I spent some time on the wrong side of the tracks and I know how these people operate. I'm tryin to be helpful so don't go gettin your noses outta joint. This is an internet chat room Who the hell knows who might drop in for a look. This thread is in an area where you don't have to be a member to view it. Not that anyone can't become a member but - - well I guess I've said enough. Sorry to rain on your parade but it's a crappy world out there sometimes amigos.

Spidey,
Valid points...that's why I didn't give everything away...also, anyone wanting to study my habits, is going to get very confused and not see any pattern at all, and if by chance they do decide to take a chance and try to separate me and my Jester, then they just may have to answer to my friends Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson first.[smiley=rifle.gif]

Spider. I hear you 100%. This is the only site I've EVER posted as much information as this publicly. I've always been very cautious. Here's my mentality. So, they know where I live? Anyone could follow me home and see where I live. You live in California. I live in Kentucky. Here in Kentucky we learn to shoot before we can walk. My house is protected by Smith & Wesson. I've got dogs trained to attack, unless you drop them a pork chop. I guess I'm saying I'm aware of what you are saying, but not concerned. Thanks for the heads up though and a VERY valid point.

I read BB explanation for not doing a registry, but "old 357" wanted to jump out of the holster.  My advice is call first. I'll ask questions later.

I didn't see a format to put out the registry information. So here goes.

Model: FLHTCUSE2
Color: Lightning Blue/Midnight Blue
Delivery Date: 01/20/07
Dealer: Liberty Harley-Davidson  Akron, OH

Later Add on's: Digital temp & Level dipstick

Those items marked with an *** are the most important for a registry. I am trying to gather this information into a spreadsheet format.

I understand that, but if someone wanted it they would all ready be logged on to know it was there. So, how secure is it? I personnaly do not think it is a problem, but if somebody else is concerned they should know, and then they can decide if they want to post the info or not.

VaB,

All I do is copy the info into a spreadsheet. The main purpose of the spread sheet is to see VIN, date, color & where (I'm only putting down state). The premise is to be able to see where your bike falls into the mix. I don't want to divulge any personal info. Would just like to see if any were consecutive #'s / colors, etc. Maybe in later years if a motorcycle has been damaged / wrecked it may help a potential buyer.

Now that is a good idea, but, getting the info to you without compromising the owner.  Now there is where the rub comes in.

Nowadays you cannot get someone's address from their license plate because of this very scenario.

B B
Actually if your plate registration is listed through DMV as a street address and not a P.O. Box, any media source, insurance agent, law enforcement, or anyone who will pay $15 on a background search site, can find where you live from your plate #.

As the club Secretary AJ, I think you should keep track of everyone's bike, not just the SEUC's! All the 110's have issues, so what makes your FD so special? That's disrimination man! :nixweiss: ;D

Why not start a separate 110 Registry if you want the SEUC Registry for other reasons? That's where the common issues are. :2vrolijk_21:

WOW! That is one impressive bike. I can't wait to come back down to FL to see it in person.

And it's a SERK AJ, not a SEUC! It's a Bagger too! :P

Re: How about a 2007 Registry?
« Reply #99 on: August 27, 2007, 12:29:18 PM »

Everybody,

The reason getting the registry up to date is so important is that I want to use it to come up with a statistical sampling to see what percentage of the SERKS and SEUCs, 2007 and 2008 are having head gasket problems. I asked AJ for a copy of what he had and he was nice enough to get it up to date for me.

To be as accurate as possible, we need all BAGGERS, leaky or not. If you don't want to list your information pubicly, please send me a PM with the standard info. Please state if you have had head gasket problems, and how many times. The only place this information is going is into pecentages. Nothing will be sent anywhere with any information about your bike.

I want to present to HD Customer Service information on how many bikes have had leaky head gaskets, and how many times. This is all to give this problem more visibility, something it apparently lacks now.

Please help us help you.

Thank you,

RS, thank you for the information. At this time we do not have total production numbers from the MoCo (but we're working on it).

For those that have had problems, there will be a column in the excel format.

I've also been checking eBay for listings as I see them.

I think I recall seeing on the harley site that there were 4100 FLHTCUSE2's built.

FXDSE (Dyna):                  approx 2400 units.
FXSTSSE (Springer):          approx 2500 units.
FLHRSE3 (Road King):         approx 3500 units.
FLHTCUSE2 (Electra Gluide) approx 4100 units. (ones that had leakes. Approximately 3075 units. ;))

Most of this is available from:

However I am fairly certain that many of you will already know this.

2 Replacement HG's, 1 Replacement CYL, 1 Grip Replacement, 1 Radio button replacement - tech damaged when changing grips. The day we picked up our bike we rode 200 miles before I noticed one of the saddlebag pins was missing, it was laying in the bottom of saddlebag under the liner- so much for prep. Yesterday I noticed rear cylinder is weeping from the base with only 2k miles on it since last Decembers replacement. This will be the 3rd time, thourougly disgusted.

VIN: 959938
Color: Black & Orange
Date of Purchase: Jan 2007 deposit placed in Houston, TX at Republic HD
Date of Delivery: 6/30/2007
Dealer: Wolverine
Pre-delivery add-ons: N/A
Owners Name: Brian B
Screen name: Buvy
Location: Saint Clair Shores, MI
Any Problems: Cruise control went wacky this summer and starting occasionally produces a horrible sound

My bike was originally going to come in while I was still in Texas but the MOCO kept jerking me around between the strike and then sending Republic the wrong color.  Republic then agreed to refund my deposit and I was able to locate a B&O jester at Wolverine just in time before the model year ended.

hard10 suggested I post this information on this site.

I had the engine upgrade kit installed and have put about 500 miles. I now have a ticking coming from the top end, have been back to the dealer 3 times. Each time they have a different answer   1) I wasn't riding the bike right (not keeping the engine at right RPM levels). Checked the manual (no reference to RPM level but recommended shift speeds per gear)   2) Took manual to dealer and they said the manual is wrong. So I rode per manual and never got over 2600 RPM, dealer says engine should be driven and shifted at 3000 to 3500 RPM. So I rode to their specs and never got out of 3rd gear until over 50 MPH. I'm not riding a two-stroke dirt bike but a Touring bike. On the freeway the speed limit is 60 MPH and shifting into 4th gear takes the RPM's to 2500.   3) Had mechanic who did engine upgrade ride bike and he said he didn't hear anything but maybe a transmission whine. I round tripped this bike to Sturgis and never had this ticking sound and as a truck driver for over 30 years I know when there is a change in sound to an engine.

Has anyone else experienced this??

This is just a reminder that this thread is not dead. I have been updating the list from information from ebay and Chopper Trader. Hopefully we can get a few more entries.
Thanks,
AJ

Newbie that finds this post interesting - good idea trying to see what might still be out there.  I just bought a black & orange 2007 flhtcuse2 in Cave Creek, AZ and having it checked out and a big bore upgrade done at Hacienda Harley.  I'm now in the 100 hp club!  The bike will be making it's way to reside in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.  The last 6 VIN #s = 953568.
Keep up the excellent work on these sites!
