My thoughts exactly as I was sitting on the Limited at SMHD a couple weeks ago.  That is a LARGE hole and bugs go everywhere.  I was also wondering about the bug situation for the twin radiators....we have a bunch of bugs here in the Summer in East Tennessee and I see the potential for LOTS of cleaning issues on these as well as problems with air flow after a long ride and bugs....

Some have said they wished the vent was painted my thought is not long after scrubbing bugs off the paint prolly wouldn't last long.

They left the bug catcher wide open so they splatter up the inside of your shield too. That way they can bang you extra for an optional screen or bend you over for a chrome one.
