The J&M antenna on my bike is 18 in long designed for am/fm/cb. FM reception is good, not great, but I mainly use the MP3 player, the CB  works great, I have talked with truckers 3 miles away. the antenna is tunable but why if it works this well. But be warned, a bad tuned antenna can damage a CB after awhile.
Now that I have a TP for the SERG I have to relocate the antenna for trips.
