Nice write up.  It is important to remember your past and those great moments!  It also important to build new memories and continue going through life.  I have had experiences with both long and sudden passings. My wife and I try to live life knowing we could go at any moment. I also know that you can't wait until an illness come along to do all those things you put off. Do them now while you can and keep those memories!

now that i dried my eyes I wanted to thank you for sharing your story.  I am sorry for your loss and for the pain you both endured. You are stronger for it and glad to hear that you have moved forward with intent and purpose. Ride safe

Damn......I don't believe I have ever read a true story like that in my life. That is one hell of a women there, and the reason you have the courage I would think is because of your great  memories....you are strong bro!!!! I am sorry for your lost. God bless Gerri and you and your new wife. Thanks for sharing that with us.
