FXR3 Purchase

Hello everyone...new here and almost on my way to purchase a 99 FXR3 with very low miles......excited to get it and start detailing...can't wait to take it out. I have read in several areas the numbers made on these but it appears to be pretty rare with the blue n blue flame paint scheme.
Anything anyone can tell me about them.....any known issues.....what to look for, etc ???
I am a little familiar with them and being a CVO surely helps with the paint and chrome finishes.
Any advise is much appreciated as I look forward to making it better, cleaner and faster than it presently is........

I hope this may be of interest to you.
Attending a GTG is the best way to get to know the members and put a face to those screen names. Many a lasting friendship have come out of these GTG's,
