It's my thread and I'm still missing things.

Thanks a bunch Jerry, Simon and Kiro.....appreciate the kudos.  :2vrolijk_21:  But I believe Kiro might be just a tad bit partial.   ;D

What a beautiful duo, JC!  In my opinion, there is no better trailer out there for the FLHT than the Roadstar.  And the paint... it is exquisite!  I've always thought the Roadstar was so cool and the "old school" look is an awesome match for the Electra Glide.

But where an RGU is concerned, I have to admit that the Turbo +2 is a better match for the RGU.  Maybe a more new-school look is what the RGU needs, and even tho the Turbo's been around a long time, it still has that Road Glide kinda look.

Thanks for sharing all the great pics!  I know you're proud!

When the best color is blue like the water a splash of orange and black never hurts.

Greg....you and Chip can both take lessons from Alan's post above.  :P

I thought Chip would post something about my bike being dirty.  I was gonna have to tell him it's a riding day 365 days a year here in So Cal...no time to wash it.  :huepfenlol2:

Ohhhh...OK.  But be sure to take pics from all sides and angles and shoot them to me as soon as you get it there.  ;)

Thought I would bump this up.
361 days ago JC picked up his new bike.
What a journey it has been.
How about a one year update JC?

OK....the one year update....it's not near as cold across this country as it was a year ago.  I'll never forget what it was like riding across Ariz. in 14F temps. :nervous:  And the fact that Ariz. was the coldest state, riding across this country.  :nixweiss:

Seriously, 21,000 miles later the bike has been very, very good to me.......and it still has the stock seat!  :2vrolijk_21:  I believe it was 1986....my Heritage (first year of Heritage) the last time I had a bike that had a stock seat.  It wasn't to comfortable but back then it was the "look good" that was important and not so much the comfort.  ;)

The bike and trailer has been good to me.  After I got it home, it has one long distance trip to Colorado and back and a number of California rides.  Back and forth to Nor Cal three times, 500 miles each way.  Two rear tires replaced free on the extended warranty due to screws, one front tire.  Fullsac ceramic coated X pipe and 1.75 baffles and tuner to minamize the heat issue but the increased performance while keeping the motor stock is an added bonus.

I wasn't overly fond of the color but it continues to get a lot of attention everywhere I go.  And.....it sure stands out in a parking lot full of bikes.  :2vrolijk_21:  It's growing on me.  I mean it could been a plain vanilla blue.  :nixweiss:   :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2:

:behead:

It's ok, a couple thoughts though.
The last bike JC had was Cobalt Blue and he loved it.
Now, JC says the color of his current bike is growing on him.

So let me translate his last sentence of his last post.
"I'd rather have a blue bike but this one is nice and the price was right."
JC is just busting our balls.
