Are all parts of the North not the same? On our recent trip to AB & BC, we could get 94(or so it said) at all Shell Stations.

Going from memory so ................  :coolblue:     You can get 94 octane in BC, AB and Washington State.  As you go east and/or south it drops to 91.  Here in BC all Chevrons have 94 as well as most Petro Canada stations.  If Petro Canada does not have 94 then they have 92.  To be honest I've never noticed a difference between 91 and 94, but then again we never get real hot around here.  Best we did this summer was high 20's C.  Just about perfect riding weather  :2vrolijk_21:

Bubtrauma, if you read the fine print on most of the octane boosters it will usually say it raises your octane by one tenth of 1%. Not really worth the money. Putting it in a full tank is more psychological than anything else. JMHO CAHDBIKER

In the Midwest, we can add ethanol to it and get it up to 87
