Have any of you guys who have swapped bars yourself used the extended twist grip sensor pn 32310-08 that eliminates the green connector plug?

No, wasn't aware of its existence!  But what's the advantage...?

It eliminates the green plug inside the bars, which is notorious for being damaged during the often rough process of fishing the wires internally.
