Steve, My pillion (wife) has only ridden on the bike with the tourpak on due to a psychological belief that it feels safer than the sissy bar! However, she has not ridden on the bike when sissybar backrest has been fitted and so this makes logical reasoning for a woman. As for the short sissy bar being comfortable, I don't know....but it looks good and that's what matters  ;D

That looks exceptional! I have the black with gold dust flames and haven't considered a tour pak until now. Did you get it through harley and how the hell did you get a driver backrest to work on the stock seat?
