Yaffe bars
« on: April 17, 2016, 08:26:40 PM »

So I have had 12 inch Yaffe bars on my last two bikes. The time has come to put apes on the new one. I have decided to go with a set of 14s. I have talked to some local shops and they have said the quality on the Yaffe bars has slipped over the last year or so, mainly on the inside of the welds. Apparently the bars are tearing up the wires and sheithing. Anyone have similar incidents or have you had the opposite experience. I like the way the Yaffes look and love the way they feel.  Any input is greatly apprecieated.

I went with BRs Custom 14" Sweeping Beaters. Great quality, fit and outstanding customer service. A little spendy, but 100% Made in America.

I ended up ordering a set from Factory 47, black with a 14" rise. We shall see how I like them once installed. Those BR's look good.

I have a set of 10" Yaffe's sitting in my garage that are out of spec (wider than advertised). I took them off my bike because I could not stand them. I called Yaffe after I figured out the problem with them, and they refused to take them back. Screw Yaffe...

That's plain chitty. Now I wouldn't buy Yaffe for that reason alone...although never been a big fan of his stuff.  It's all show, no go. I like to buy vendors that are durable and tested...

Don't know about the internals on these bars But the externals pass in looks and strength.Picked my bike of the ground with 1 handlbar with no bending. Can others do that? Could be costly to find out...Yaffe's passed the lay down test
