Thinking of changing the upper fork cover and the piece just under the fairing to chrome. this is on my 2011 Cvo Streetglide. These pieces are painted right now (Orange). Anyone done this?

I'll shoot you a picture when it's done. $450 parts and labor. probably a week or so. I have two chips in the two pieces and I don't want anymore. Hence the chrome.

Let me know if you do, as I will gladly buy your inferno orange cow bells off of you.  My right side one had a small dent in it when I bought bike with 1500 miles.  Guessing last owner did a poor job with a tie-down when trailering??

Got the fork tubes done. I was concerned I might not like them. But I sure do. Took a couple pictures in the garage but I need to take pictures in the daylight to do them justice. Will post them tomorrow.

WAS JUST GETTING READY TO DO MINE AND THE DEALER SCRATCHED THE ORANGE LOWER FAIRING. THEY WERE UNABLE TO COME CLOSE MATCHING THE PAINT (2011 INFERNO ORANGE) SO I'M GOING WITH THE METALIC BLACK ON THE LOWER FAIRING AND THE CHROME YOU MENTIONED. SOME SAY I'M CRAZY BUT I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE FRONT WAS A BIT OVERKILL ON THE ORANGE AND CONSIDERED THE BLACK PAINT ABOUT A YEAR AGO.

I did the cow bells and the fairing skirt....looks much better to me. Others may prefer all that paint.
